– #V-BT11/006EN (RRR)

[ACT](VC):COST [Discard a card from your hand], search your deck for up to one “Demon Stealth Dragon, Shiranui “Oboro””, ride it as [Stand], and shuffle your deck. [AUTO](RC):When it attacks a vanguard, if you have a vanguard with “Shiranui” in its card name, this unit gets [Power]+10000 until end of turn. Then, at the end of that battle, COST [put this unit into your soul], draw a card, choose up to one of your opponent’s rear-guards, and return it to his or her hand. If it was returned, your opponent chooses a card from his or her hand, and discards it.

So obviously, it mostly functions as the main means to get Shiranui Oboro onto your board no matter what happens. It’s a -1 to you initially but it’s a +0 wash if you decided to go Protect 1 so you’re not losing much, and even if you decide to fulfill the 2 soul requirement of Oboro the slow way, you would have gone -1 to ride again anyway. To be honest that alone would make Shiranui worth running – the +1 to yourself on rear-guard circle is basically a nice bonus on top of that, but of course, you want it just to shove it into the soul to fulfill Oboro’s requirements.

Is nice. Adds consistency. How many more decks have this claim?
