Fringe Reserves 20
Melee Attack
Pheromones

Commander Effect: Each Black Sun ally within 6 squares gains +4 attack and +10 damage.

When Prince Xizor came out in Universe, he was a competitive piece that did not decline with time until anti-stealth techniques became common. The new Xizor features a great commander effect, solid abilities, and good durability. His commander effect boosts the damage output of two very effective shooters. The Bith Black Sun Vigo can now hit for 30 damage at 14 attack four times with this character and Imperial Governor Tarkin in your squad. The Twi'Lek Black Sun Vigo can hit for 40 damage at 17 attack four times with the same support. In an Imperial or Republic squad, you also have Mas Amedda to remove the range restriction. The MD can also do that universally.

In addition to his commander effect, he has great defensive stats for his cost. At 90 hp, he can survive four hits from Dash or Rex. He also has 21 defense, which is right up there with the jedi.In fact, the only non-jedi to beat it is his earlier incarnation, Prince Xizor. With Pheromones as well, he is very tough to kill. In terms of offense, he has a decent 11 attack and 10 damage, also limited by Melee Attack. Apparently he put aside his blaster to show off his Teras Kasi skills. However, he is not a fighter, so that should be of little importance.

Finally, he has Fringe Reserves 20. This could be a nice bonus when it happens, giving you another TBSVor BBSV for free. If you have Lobot, CLO in your squad as well, you have a 10% chance each round to get 50 points of fringe. If you throw in an RBSV, the weakest of the three Black Sun Vigos, you could get 70 points. That's more than a third of your squad at 200 points! It is nothing to rely on, but reserves are a plus.

100 pts: 1/5 He lacks enough offensive ability and costs 30% of your squad. Like most commanders, he will be ineffective here.
150 pts: 4/5 The Vigos can provide some cheap firepower greatly exceeding Dash or Rex with the right team. He is essential to any Black Sun squad here.
200 pts: 4.5/5 Same as 150, but with a higher ratio of shooter to support, this Xizor will do even better.
