Twin Attack; Mounted Weapon; Damage Reduction 10; Rigid, Penetration 10

This is perhaps one of the easiest pieces to cherry pick if you want to out of this set. I walked out of my LGS with four of them within the first two weeks of the release. It is actually a decent piece, but not a great piece.

For 42 points I would like to see the HP a bit higher. The defense is good, and the attack isnt too shabby either. Imperials always have plenty of help for pieces like this. It has access to +3/+3, accurate, free twin attacks from officers, force points from palps, ect.

Twin attack makes this a very nice run out and blast someone type machine. DR 10 will help stretch the 80 HP a bit further, but it will still die fast against Jedi. the mounted weapon and rigid are to be expected, but the penetration 10 is very nice. You won't ever have to worry about your opponnent's DR10 slowing you down.

The worst part of this piece has actually nothing to do with its stats. Its the stupidly over sized treads on the thing. Moving and positioning it in a crowd is an absolute nightmare. That alone keeps me from even trying it.

100/150pts: Treads aside you never want to run a huge, much less a rigid in these formats. Too many choke points for it to get caught in.

200pts: Here it can actually be a fun piece. It is a bit fragile for the points, but if you build around it, it can be a solid piece. Although i would highly recommend bringing an empty huge base (say if your dog ate your Acklay or something) to help plan movements and use as a proxy once your board gets crowded.
