WOW!  I was looking forward to her before the stats were available, but now that they are out...Just WOW!  She is my single favorite piece from this set.  I am not fond of all these high cost Jedi because it makes it hard to run several of them in a squad, but is she ever worth it.

Stat wise she is extremely solid.  130 HP means she is going to take some punishment.  The 20 DEF is very solid, but add in lightsaber duelist and you might as well give here a base 24 DEF.  The +13 is a bit low, but when you add in her crowd fighting, she can get some insanely high attack values.  With the new Shaak, though, you now add in cunning attack.  When she swings first she swing big and will not miss.  She has the standard double attack.  She also maintains her stealth so you can give here evade with the help of the Bith Vigo.

Her force powers are incredible.  She has the standard force renewal from this set, but she has gained a lot of experience from her older self and now has MotF 2.  With Block and Riposte, she can block two attacks, or block an attack and riposte, or simply riposte both for 40 more DAM.  If she attacked first that is up to 100pts of damage!  Shaak Ti is absolutely incredible.

100pts:  I have not seen here here, but with the right support, i think she can make a real impact.  She can block both of Bane's attacks and hit him big if she wins initiative.  Give her CS Yoda for the extra block reroll.  Run a power shooter to weaken other targets first.  Run a Bith for some stealth evading.  Heck, Run her with Han RH and you can get her to swing for 40 DAM a pop!  Her affinity to the rebels gives her so many possibilities.  She can have a real impact here.

150/200pts - I am going to lump these together because there are jsut so many options that it is incredible.  Run here with republic help or Rebel help.  Either way, she only get stronger the more characters you add.  She works with Princess Leia and her extra attack, so with cunning she not only wont miss, but she can swing for 40 DAM (50 if you run Han RH with her).  She can have some nice stealth republic builds with her and Quinlan (among other stealth help)

I honestly think she is one of the best figures from this set.  I wish we had some more mid 30pt Jedi to run swarms, but i would gladly pay 47pts for Shaak Ti's package any day!

Hello fellow sentients! Stilla back with another review for you. Today is the new and improved Shaak Ti, Jedi Master. I wasn't a big fan of the original. Most early Unique Jedi fell short for 1 reason or another. The old Shaak suffered from low hitpoints, lower stats and only a single attack. This Shaak makes this character playable for more than just her stealth.

First off, the stats: 130 hitpoints isn't bad in general. For the cost of 47, I wish she had a little more. Defense of 20 is respectable, if not a little low. Keep in mind that against Jedi, she has 24 defence from Lightsaber Dualist. 20 damage is standard for lightsabers. Attack of +13 is not great but is still decent. She may need a little luck with the dice but she should hit more often than not.

For special abilities we have Double attack, which should help her do a little more damage than her original version. Affinity to the Rebels gets her in with them too. Crowd fighting gives her a +2 attack for each other adjacent character other than her target. This was handy with her old version as it had sweep. This one doesn't have sweep but the attack bonus is worth getting her next to multiple people. Try using the Doombot to drop her into a group and see what happens. Cunning Attack is awesome. I love cunning as well as opportunist. Any character that has either of these abilities can dish out a little more pain per strike. Cunning turns her into a +17 for 60 Damage! Not too bad. Her stealth is still the biggest reason to play her. More on that in a minute.

For Force powers she has 2 points, renewal 1 and MotF2. Block helps her stand up to Jedi. If she can hit her blocks, she should be OK against most of the "non-elite" Jedi. She also has Riposte. Riposte seems to be the better bet to me. I have an easier time rolling an attack than a save most of the time. an 11 or higher is needed for the block. Depending on what you are attacking, you may only need a 6-8 to hit. Better odds means better chances of success.

The biggest reason I play Shaak is for her Stealth. Her, Quinlan Vos, Infiltrator and Saesee Tiin get teamed up with a Bith Black Sun Vigo, Mas Amedda and Yoda from Clone Strike. For those not familiar with this build, the BBSV gives pieces with Stealth; Evade. Adding Clone Strike Yoda give them all a re-roll if they fail an evade save. Since there are only 3 Jedi, at present, with Stealth, the squad needs as much damage output from its 3 main pieces as possible. Up until now, Quinlan had Double attack and Shaak/Saesee had only 1. Now we can get a little more output from your 3 main figs. Shaak now becomes the cornerstone of this very frustrating build. She looks good, she plays good and she fits in rather well.

Rating: 4. Not Uber, but defiantly useful and playable.
Sculpt: 2.5. Not that great, almost Tarzan-ish.
