Luke's Landspeeder
Cost 47; VR
HP 140
Defense 18
Attack +12
Damage 20

I like this mini, because it gives luke some power with speed 10 and mobile attack.
with twin attack, and non-melee attacks really helps get the most out of speed 10 and mobile.
not to mention the amazing health of 140, the highest hp of a luke, or obi wan.
its basically jedi on wheels, 2 jedi and a speeder for 1 point less that tyranus, 2 less than luke cotf, and 27 points less than luke jedi master with 10 more hp, a nice addition to any rebel squad.
with the release of a&e, as i am sure you all kno, we recieved 3 amazingly useful lukes.
the plus 12 attack is pretty bad, but still is only one less than luke cotf, but the hp more than makes up for it.
generally, vehicles have less than usable stats, but this one meets my standards.
Though difficult to work into a 100 point squad, it is best used in a 200 point squad.
its force power jedi mind trick goes back to the film, and alter does sort of.

Mobile Attack; Speed 10; Twin Attack; Unique (Obi & Luke)

Force 6
Deflect; Force Alter; Jedi Mind Trick

Today we look at a surprisingly awesome piece from the set in Luke's Landspeeder. A cool sculpt alone, this piece finished 2nd in the Gencon Championship backed up by Han RH. To the best of my knowledge, all of the squads that ran the sled, as its called, finished very highly.

Stat-wise, It has some pretty impressive stats for not being on one of the big name Jedi. Backed up by the abilities its a pretty complete package. Mobile attack and twin attack give it some pretty nice offense, and its speed 10 makes it all the more effective.

I'd take this piece right here, but we haven't even done the force powers yet! The sled gets a whopping 6 force points to put it in the elite class of force users, and has some pretty good tricks to use them for as well. The sled has deflect, so it has some protection against shooters. Jedi mind trick can be nice to try and activate someone and then get away from them, and finally you have force alter to get out of those nasty crits or lucky shots from grunts. Basically Luke's landspeeder is the perfect Boba Fett, BH killer. It pays to aggressively charge Boba. Note the one thing this piece does not have is flight, which is good because then it would be seriously sick. It falls under the same category as Darth Maul's speeder in not being able to clear the ground effectively.

100pts: I haven't seen this piece run yet, but i wouldn't necessarily rule it out in this format. Its speed is incredible as can be its offense if paired with the right people. The one thing going for rebels is that most of their pieces are pretty cheap, so you can get a lot of tech and activations into a squad.

150/200pts: This piece is equally good in these formats, as finishing 2nd in the championships proves. Just look at the support it gets now. Chewie can add even more hit points to it. Princess can give it another attack for a total phase damage output of 90 DAM. Han can either give it advantageous attack or can help it move 20 squares and still get its twin attack off, depending on which Han you go with. Overall this is a very solid piece!
