Hellhard Eight shenanigans mah boi. But talking about the format that isn’t dumb, Spike Bouncer has a bit going for it. 10k base so it scales, the capacity to call a card even if it’s a bit of a crapshoot at times, and it can efficiently get rid of itself on the turn it’s called so it can leave room for something else next turn (but that’s generally only useful against retiring clans, and I don’t imagine an attacker will be the priority kill). Honestly, if this wasn’t packing the second ability it wouldn’t be nearly as popular.

Mainstay that does basically everything except choose the call. Don’t do the dumb thing and use Seifired to chain this multiple times unless your field sucks that much though.

3.5/5
