NEW YORK (JUNE 3, 2020) – SolidRoots is proud to announce its collaboration with Kid@Heart♥, Re-marks and Barnes & Noble for the 2020 St. Jude’s Virtual Gala during St. Jude’s Week of Hope NYC. SolidRoots will host an enhanced version of Mind The Gap LIVE for St. Jude’s during its Virtual Gala on June 3rd, 2020. You can purchase a ticket to the St. Jude Week of Hope NYC on Stjude.org. Viewers can watch the Mind The Gap LIVE Virtual Gala broadcasted on St. Jude’s Facebook page on June 4th, 2020 at 7 PM EST. 

For those unfamiliar, SolidRoots is a family-owned company that specializes in unique games that bring people together. In response to the current pandemic, SolidRoots has created a virtual version of its highly anticipated board game, hosted by Steve Starobinsky of Kid@Heart♥. Mind The Gap LIVE is a virtual version of the pop culture trivia game that challenges multi-generational teams to answer questions on their generations’ music, TV, film, slang, and headlines. Teams of four compete against each other and face off in challenges such as acting out famous scenes, humming well-known tunes and theme songs, or dancing through the decades. Mind The Gap LIVE has drawn national media interest over the last few weeks and is hosted every Tuesday and Thursday on Facebook Live.

The St. Jude’s Virtual Gala, is a part of the first ever St. Jude Week of Hope NYC which will include a series of cooking classes, puzzles, trivia, virtual mission experiences, an online silent auction and more. In partnership with St. Jude’s Virtual Gala, Mind The Gap LIVE will benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. All proceeds from the event will benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, for families in need of treatment, travel, housing or food.

For this event the sponsors, SolidRoots, Re-marks and Barnes & Noble have all created valuable prizes for the participants. In addition, to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital proceeds, every donor of the Mind The Gap LIVE Virtual Gala will receive a Re-marks Map of USA jigsaw puzzle in advance, which includes unique mini puzzles of each state. All members of the winning team will receive a complimentary copy of the Mind The Gap game and second place winners will receive a $25 Barnes & Noble gift card.
