Hello Pojo Fans,

Solfachord Harmonia is your Field Spell and one you’d search off Gracia.

Three different effects for different situations, options are always appreciated. Getting back a Solfachord face-up from your Extra Deck helps to get back a specific Solfachord for their summon effect or for their Pendulum Zone effect. Manipulating a Solfachord’s scale by their level is useful to extend your scales reach if you happen to not have a high enough scale to reach your bigger Solfachord monsters for a Pendulum Summon. This effect would be useful if you could go both ways with the scale so you could access your smaller Solfachord monsters. Pop a card if you have three odd or even different scales on the field is a bit of a hoop to jump through for a removal ability. Scales 2 and 8 with a 4 on the field is possible, especially off a Pendulum Summon, but you would’ve preferred something simpler: this effect needs the Field Spell, and three monsters with different even or odd scales…so four cards to pop one of your opponents.

You have the ability to easily use any of the effects that Harmonia offers you. The last one is a bit much, but you can Pendulum Summon and have all three right there if you play enough copies of the numbers.

Every archetype has to have a Field Spell, right? Well here’s Solfachord Harmonia.

Harmonia is, as I mentioned, the archetypal Field Spell and it has three effects you can use once per turn each. The first lets you add a face-up Solfachord Pendulum from the Extra Deck to the hand, good to get a Solfachord back you want to Normal Summon or put in the Scale, or even Pendulum Summon without wasting the EMZ or Link Zones. The second effect lets you increase a Solfacord Pendulum Scale’s scale by the monster’s Level, so they all typically add up to 9 to ensure you can actually Pendulum Summon the boss monster or help with one of the middle scales to make it less awkward. Finally, you got the effect where if you control Solfachord Pendulum Monsters with 3 different even Pendulum Scales or odd Pendulum Scales, you can destroy a card the opponent controls. This last effect might not come up too often as it requires a bit of setup to achieve, but it’s fine to have when you got two effects you might use fairly often. Harmonia is a fine card for the archetype, nothing broken compared to other archetypal Field Spells, and is probably at least worth using a copy of to search off Gracia and have the effects at hand.

I think the obsession of every Archtype having a Field Magic is a bit silly, given the range of them (especially in the days of yore) But it makes them easier to categorize in various degrees of good and bad I suppose.  Solfachord Harmonia, aptly named, is a Field Magic with three once per turn Effects.

*Add a Solfachord Pendulum from your Extra Deck to your Hand.  All good here, and it gives you a play you need either to further combo and speed things along, or even just something to wait for a minute if needed.  Very open ended here.

*Increase the Scale of a Pendulum you control of Solfachord status by its Level.  This is likely your money effect, opening up your Pendulum Scale to drop your bigger Pendulums, which is awesome.

*If you control 3 differently Even Scaled Solfachord Pendulums, you can destroy a card your opponent controls.  Destruction is nice, and while that Effect may not get triggered a LOT, just as it takes a minute to drop those to your Field, it’s still a welcome Effect here.

Fun Field Magic, does some useful things, isn’t by any means broken.  Do you need to use it?  A lone copy I think could be worthwhile, but I equally feel not using one wouldn’t hurt that much.

Art:  5/5  Now THIS is too freaking adorable (though they look a little cantankerous…maybe the harmonies aren’t coming together quite the way they wanted?)
