Welcome to June! You are officially in the summer months now. Let's heat things up with today's card of "Tag Team." This card art features Yoh, Ren (Len), and En (Ren/Len's Father/Uncle). Personally I find this arc in the anime and the manga kinda boring. Maybe since there is better, more exciting events that follow that drown out this battle.

"Tag Team" is a rare Melee strike from the Reincarnation booster series. The furyoku cost is set an usual price of 2 greens and 1 yellow. In the game right now this cost is very playable as long as the strike is strong. This duo has an impressive intercept of 5 and a decent force of 4. Blocks the golden number of 5 and the Opening Attack. The force is alittle lacking but the effect makes up for that.

If you have a teamwork in the zone which "Tag Team" is flipped into, then this card gets +2 force. Brings that decent 4 up to a powerful 6 force. Very useful if you have a teamwork in play, even if you don't use it's effect. One set back about this card is that your opponent can move a teamwork out of the zone that "Tag Team" is in. If that happens you would lose the +2 bonus. Easy come, easy go.

As a rare card, you won't be getting a bunch of these in a sealed event. If you run a melee deck with alot of teamworks, then this card is great. This card is very playable in all formats. If your deck doesn't contain alot of teamworks then you won't be getting their effect, but still a solid card. Also, I would like to comment that the favor text on this card is really long. I guess it's better to do it on this card since the effect is short and sweet. I prefer shorter favor text.
