So we finally dig into the meat of the new releases. Starting us off is new Leo-pald. Gotta admit that when I first saw him, I didn’t get it. With the quality of advantage being random (even the CALLS are random assuming you succeed and mill a normal unit), and honestly, the extra power may come at a bad time if you got sacked for advantage and need the calls more. Truthfully I still don’t get it given the way to re-ride Leo-pald consistently are pretty nonexistent. The only reason for his existence is that the other Grade 3s are kind of wank. Bison is meh and Hammsuke is a bit too problematic to proc.

Nice once you actually start re-riding but I’d rather know what I’m getting a la Waterfall or even Imperial Daughter. I don’t get it.
