WildWill
Name: Cold Blooded
Card #081
Type: Advantage - Body
Rarity: Common
Payment: 1 Green
Card Effect: Your strikes have +1 Intercept while in one of your zones with an ally.
Flavor Text: "They say ‘er sword, Silver Tongue, is cursed—those cut down forfeit their souls."

I love this type of advantage, and typically I use 4X in every deck that I can. To me pumping up your force and intercept is definitely one of the stronger strategies, though if you rely on it too much, you’re history. Of course, you can only use Body Advantages with Greenbeard, Pintel & Ragetti, Rachel Darling and Will Turner. You have the most options with the first two, since they can both use Dark allies, which seem to me to be stronger than any other type of ally (Barbossa comes to mind). But in the right Will Turner build, this card is essential. Plus it’s an uncommon, so it’s easy to get.

My Ratings:
Playability 3 of 5
Collectability 3 of 5

Next Time: Pirates are always making people do this.

Bonzu Pippinpaddle-Oppsokopolis III Cold Blooded is a very solid card. It is not quite the little beater that its counterpart, Hot Blooded, can be, but it is a very efficient way to add intercept. It is also probably weaker than the Avatar card that had the same effect in a charged zone. And because it is a reactive card, opponents cannot mess with your allies to affect it either. All that said, Cold Blooded is an auto-play in any Pirates efficiency deck.

Rating: 4
