WildWill
Name: Trigger Happy
Card #019
Type: Strike - Bull
Rarity: Rare
Payment: 1 Yellow
Intercept: 4
Force: 3
Card Effect: When you counterattack against a strike that has 3 Force or less, Trigger Happy gets +3 Force.
Flavor Text: "Now for blood! Now for hunger! Now they pay!"

This card is not one of my favorites, because while it has a low bulk energy cost, the force and intercept are mediocre, and the card effect only works on 28 strikes. You see, there are only 28 strikes in the Pirates set that have a force 3 or less (and this is one of them). Considering that there are just over 100 different strikes in the set all together, this card will work with just a bit more than one-fourth of them. I don’t know about you, but a card that only works 25% of the time is not something I’m going to be using quite a bit. At least it’s a rare.

My Ratings:
Playability 2 of 5
Collectability 3 of 5

Next Time: Mike Tyson is known for these.

Bonzu Pippinpaddle-Oppsokopolis III Trigger Happy is one of my favorite little Pirates strikes. For one yellow you get a 4 Intercept and 3 Force. Decent already against any sort of low Force. Very efficient. But wait, there’s more! Trigger Happy’s crazy ability is what really makes this card fun. In ideal situations, you will have a 4 Intercept 6 Force strike for one yellow. Now that’s value! I like to play this card in a Rachel Darling deck and turn my opponent’s 4 and 5 Force strikes into twos and threes and then smash them with my itchy Trigger finger!
