Flavor Text: "Pillagin' and plunderin' are only 'alf

rum."
This has to be one of the worst, if not THE worst
Dubloon card you can pull, and it’s really
unfortunate too. Basically in order to get this
card’s effect you have to LOSE the point, and that’s
not something I really ever want to contemplate. So
great, if you get a point scored on you, you get to
celebrate too. Joy.
This card has actually sold on eBay twice, once for
a buck and another for three bucks. Meh. I have an
extra for trade.

Keeping with the "Energy Theme" this week we have
Pintel & Ragetti's Dubloon card. I am actually a fan
of this card. Often times I know when I'm about to
lose out on a point, so I have NO problem playing
this card to gain some energy back. If you're heavy
on the allies, then why not?
On the one hand your opponent gets the point. On the
other, you can add energy in up all 3 of your zones!
If you've got some high costing strikes that you're
just waiting to play, then this is the perfect
pre-cursor.
It's really all how you play the game. While some
people would disagree that giving up a point for (up
to) 3 energy isn't worth it. There are those like me
that run 4 of these in a deck to ensure I have
plenty of energy to play whatever it is I need.

I see little use for this card. It works with one
chamber card, and counters the effect of that
chamber card. Other than being a pretty card, I see
no need to use it.
