Name: Beat to the Quick
Card # 022
Rarity: Rare
Type: Strike -- Fox
Intercept: 5
Force: 6
Payment Costs: 1 Green, 1 Yellow, 1 Red.
Card Effect: Your opponent's strikes cost an additional green energy to play.
Flavor Text: "Oooh, bad luck, mate! Might I suggest next time, keep your eyes on the birdie."

This is definitely one of the better Fox Strikes out there. Any time your Force is higher than your Intercept you’re doing well (there are only 26 strikes that have a higher Force than Intercept). Yes, this is a very expensive card to play, you give up 3 energy, one of which is red, BUT you add a +1 green to your opponent’s strike cost, and that doesn’t stink at all. I don’t know that I’d deck four of them, but I’d be hoping to pull one in early game situations.

This card is a rare, and it’s actually pretty useful. There are no auctions for it currently, and it’s not listed on any singles sites. I’d venture to guess it’s about a $3-4 card.

My Ratings:
Playability 3.5 of 5
Collectability 4 of 5

Works well with yesterday's card. Energy is a big part of this game, and being able to strip someone of it is also big. This makes the attacks cost more, which can buy you time, and make them think about wasting the power to attack.

Playability 3 of 5
