Pokédex Data:
They work in large colonies and make rings by linking their
tails, apparently in friendship. To eat, it deftly shucks nuts
with its two tails. It rarely uses its arms now.
Ambipom is actually pretty good; it is a pretty good physical
sweeper capable of using powerful moves like last resort. Its
speed is also very good. So you’ll have to hit fast with this
one, because its defenses are pretty bad. I’ll obviously suggest
you to use technician as you ability.

Nature: Jolly (+ Speed, - Special attack).
EV’s: 252 Attack / 252 Speed / 6 HP.

If you are going to use this as a choice bander then forget
about agility and fake out. If you are not then pick your moves
and start sweeping.
Baton passer.
Ambipom@Leftovers.
Nature: Timid (+ Speed, - Attack).
EV’s: 252 HP / 252 Speed / 6 Attack.

- Nasty plot
- Baton pass
Probably one of the best sets out there. It is a very good baton
passer. If you are going for an original team, this might be
your choice.
Last resort.
Ambipom@Life orb / Focus sash.
Nature: Adamant (+ Attack, - Special attack), Jolly (+ Speed, -
Special attack).
EV’s: 252 Attack / 252 Speed / 6 HP.

- Last resort

I’d say fake out is better. Then just sweep as hard and much as
you can. This set hurts a lot, but it is also the most
predictable one, so be careful.
Pros.
It is a pretty good and underestimated Pokémon. I have trained a
couple and both have been fun and effective. You should
definitely give it a try.
Counters.
Fast Pokémon as Jolteon or Dugtrio are very bad for Ambipom.
Strong physical defenses as Skarmory or steel types will stop it
quite easily.
Bottom line.
