Ratings & Reviews Summary: 3.7

Ratings are based on a 1 to 5 scale.

Reeve Milotic.
# 350.
Type: Water.
Ability: Marvel scale.
Locations: Evolve Feebas (max beauty).

Hi everyone. Welcome to another Pokémon of the Week. Today we’re reviewing the beauty Pokémon; Milotic.

Milotic is still one of the most used Pokémon. It has great Special defense and special attack. But having the ability of learning refresh and recover makes this one the most annoying tank. Milotic even survives some thunderbolts and leaf blades.

It has a good ability for the sets we’re suggesting today. But I’d say Milotic will be hit by special attacks most of the time.

I’ll suggest now the most common and effective move combination for Milotic. But I’m going to suggest you a couple extra moves as well, so you can try and choose the set you want.

Milotic.
Nature: Bold (+ Defense, - Attack).
Equip: Petaya berry.
EV´s: 252 Defense, 129 HP, 129 Special Defense.
- Refresh
- Recover
- Surf
- Mirror coat

It is actually kind of hard to make it work as nice as it seems. You see, you only have Surf to do direct damage, so you have to be wise with your Pokémon switches. Refresh and recover makes this one some kind of tank. Surf is your attack and Mirror coat the nasty surprise behind this one. Just make sure your opponent thinks your last move is something like toxic, then wait for a thunderbolt or something like that and it will be an easy victory for Milotic. Recover after this.

Want some more? Try toxic for extra damage or Hypnosis just to make some time to recover. If you want an special sweeper you may want to try moves like ice beam or some hidden power.

When should I use this Pokémon?
Use it if you like long battles. Because just like Ludicolo, Milotic is made to stand for a very long time. You might even see some opponents giving up because they got bored…

What should I use against this Pokémon?
You have to choose between a strong electric or grass Pokémon (Let’s say Jolteon or a grass type with solarbeam and sunny day activated) or a taunter.

Bottom line:
I like this one, it’s going to defeat a couple Pokémon if you know how to use it…

Rating:
3.7/5

Hope you enjoyed.
Reeve.
