Strategy:  My other Special Sweeper.  It covers types that Sceptile doesn’t.  Thick Fat is sorta useless, but it can sponge up an Ice attack that would own Sceptile.  Encore can force the enemy to repeat useless attacks such as the Ice Beam that was aimed at Sceptile…

Nature:  Serious

Ability:  Oblivious

Strategy:  Physical Sweeper.  Roar to eliminate challenges before it’s too late, and Overheat to blitz out any Ice, Grass, Steel, or Pokés with low Sp. Def. Before they become a problem.  I don’t really like Rock Slide because of its accuracy.

 

Name: Dusclops

Type(s):  Ghost

Gender:  Female

Nature:  Calm

Ability:  Pressure

Item:  Leftovers

Strategy:  NOTHING touches my outstanding Dusclops Tank.  Leftovers heals whatever scratches anyone puts on it.  Will-O-Wisp decreases Att. so the opponent does EVEN LESS Physical damage.  Calm Mind boosts Sp. Defense so Dusclops is nigh unstoppable and the Sp. Attack boost makes Ice Beam an average damaging attack.  Don’t bother giving it a status condition either, I’ll just Rest it away.

Strategy: Surprise, surprise!  Not a common sight on high-level teams because of its sub par stats, but thanks to Compoundeyes, it’s making a comeback.  The strategy should be obvious, Paralyze, Whirlwind, repeat.

 

Name:  Wobbuffet

Gender:  Male

Nature: Bold

Ability: Shadow Tag

Mirror Coat

Charm

Encore

Strategy:  Wobby RULES!!  Shadow Tag and Wobbuffet’s huge H.P. pull this set together.  Encore the opponent’s move, then use Counter/Mirror Coat depending.  Charm is there in case the opponent uses a non-damaging attack.
