This was actually my first pokemon tournament that I had ever been to.  I usually play yu-gi-oh, but I like pokemon somewhat so I decided to go to this tournament.  I actually drafted quite well though.

Well going into this I was feeling pretty good because I had drafted pretty well.

 

Round 1-Ok this guy probably though I was the worse player ever.  I drew horribly and got out a baltoy to start.  He got out his milotic first turn and all I could get out was my fighting type which was weak to him...so needless to say I lost.  I still had all 4 prizes to his 0.

 

Round 2-This one actually went pretty well for me and after a bit of just going back and forth with attacks I eventually won.  He had only 1 prize left.

 

Round 3-I was going up against this guy names Clay who everyone said was really good and I was probably gonna lose.  This game went a really long time and he ended up stalling until I only had a few cards left, but eventually he missed his coin flip to paralyze me and I got the hit to win.  I had 0 prizes I think he had 2-3.

 

Round 4-Ok I know tis guy and he just got bad draws..I ended up benshing him 3rd turn.

 

Round 5- This game went on forever with back to back hits and ended up coming down to one instance when I though I had one, but stupid me didn't know that weakness didn't apply when placing damage counters.  Anyway it was down to both of us having 1 prize left and I let him go and I still have a pokemon out with 80 hp, but he brings out Lanturn and uses Lightning Strike for game.

 

Anyway since this was in three different age groups I ended up getting in the top 8 anyway.

 

First Round Top 8-  If you want to know what this game was like just revert back to round 1.  I drew nothing and ended up egtting beat horribly, but oh well top 8 in my first ever pokemon tourney was nice and I won 4 extra packs of hidden legends.
