my old school deck Hey pojo!!! i am writing this lette for a request to a couple of friends who wanted to see my old school haymaker deck, i mean its OLD like all the cards are from like jungle, team rocket and the other originals, i still play with it and it works wonders, here it is: Energies:20 6 fighting 6 electric 6 psychic 2 double colorless Pokemon:18 3 Hitmonchan 3 aerodactyl 4 mr. mime 2 elekid 4 electabuzz 2 scyther Trainers:22 3 mysterious fossil 4 energy removals 1 super energy removal 2 poke ball 1 computer search 1 item finder 1 professoer elm 3 nightly garbage runs 3 gust of wind 3 pluspower thats it, it doesnt look like much but it works well for me. I like it because of its versatility, and it has alot of strategies energies as long as you keep it around 20 and keep a couple double cloerless for scyther and aerodactly, its good Pokemon i like this set, though not as mant pokemon as i would like originally, it works great because nothing ni that deck evolves, outside of aerodactyl, and thanks to his power, he is lockdown on your opponent if you get him early and keep him alive. Mr mime is also annoying thanks to his invisible wall power, making him a great staller. I like scyther thanks to his no retreat cost and his ability so slash with three colorless, making him a quick kill necessity. as for elekid, he can attack from the bench!!! what more do you want??? so as long as he is on your bench, you can attack your opponent every turn. and then we come to hitmonchan and electabuzz, my heavy hitters. they are pretty good pokemon for not evolving and can take down alot of pokemon if used correctly. sometimes i like to mix it up and take one of them out and put in magmars form the fossil set, they are great replacements in this deck. you can also run chansey and snorlax, make sure you have scoop ups though, they work great with them. and i have evn seen wigglytuffs with "do the wave in here". not my favorite pick but they will fit in here. Trainers the best part of this deck is the ability to switch out alot of stuff depending on your battle situation or mood. These trainers arnt set in stone, just the ones i use the most often. I love energy removals and gusts of wind, and they work very well in this deck. Computer search and item finder work well too, so they are kept. poke balls you can take or leave, try using master balls or something like that. pluspower are required if you want to kill things quickly, and mysterious fossils for aerodactyl, though fossil eggs work too. as for the garbage runs, they are their to put the double colorless and some good pokemon back into the deck, combined with the elm, it works pretty good. like i said these arnt set it stone, switch them around how you like. well thats my deck, i hope you can post it for my friends and ill have more old school deck lists coming soon. you guys rock and keep up the good work.
