Happy New Year! More Tomy News!

Hot on the heels of my Christmas Eve find of new Tomy plush as noted in my prior Pojo report, I've located the first batches of Tomy Pokemon figures! Midwest U.S. superstore Meijer comes through again (not to mention they were also the first major retailer in my area to stock the new My Little Pony princess figure packs which I haven't seen yet elsewhere here-my photo was used on Brony fan site Equestria Daily!) with single figure Legendary packs and two figure Vs. packs! The Vs. packs have smaller figures, by the way; I only purchased the Pikachu Vs. Kyurem pack but the Kyruem varieties available in the Legendary packs are about 2x as big. My Poke-pal Emily and I have both done exhaustive searches online and neither of us have spotted any reports or e-Bay listings of the plush yet. But if you're lucky enough to live in the Midwest, you might want to pop into a Meijer and check the shelves. Oh! I just noticed on the back of the package, the Pikachu in the photo doesn't look like the Pikachu in the pack! I'm also curious about the Trainer Kit depicted.

For the price-conscious, like me!-figure packs were running around $6.99 and the plush were $9.99.

Happy New Year!

Loretta
