Clothes? Wow, thanks!

Imagine hearing *that* out of a kid after getting clothing for the holidays!  But then, if you roll out to Wal-mart and pick up one of these new long sleeve youth T's, ya never know!  This cool new Ash & co. T ran me $8 at my local Wal-mart and was available in youth sizes all the way up to XXL(18).  And yo, omahanime, I should mention the collector's poster gift pack with the Lucario foil showed up on the TCG shelf at Wal-mart in case you don't have a Meijer in your area.

Today's report, short and sweet; nothing much else to see so far on my week off.  I guess the economy is to blame, stores are being very conservative as far as putting out new Poke merch. just yet.  I'm hoping things will turn around real soon--you know the new issue of Beckett's mentioned the electronic plush and suggested to run out and grab 'em if you can still find 'em.  But... but... they haven't even stocked 'em yet in my area except at Meijer!  TRU is 2 waves behind and still trying to clearance out the Stage 1 starters.  Target in my area hasn't restocked any new mini plush since before July.  If you do happen to have a Meijer in your area, the Jakks Pokemon items are *still* on sale, but that means if you are lucky enough to find the electronic plush, you'll save a few dollars (they are regularly $19.99 there and the sale has 'em in the $17 range).  My local Hot Topic did get in some adult size Pikachu slippers (minus a tail, which is disappointing as my Wal-mart Pika slippers from some years back had a tail!), but no sign of anything else, despite some reports on a collector's site that someone had found some holiday goodies there.  Keep your eyes open and happy shopping.  Perhaps Black Friday will coax out some fresh retail!

Pika!
