"HOT" fashion bulletin!
June 25, 2007

For the lady trainers heading to a mall this week to pick up their copy of Battle Revolution, save some room on your Pika-Card for a visit to Hot Topic! Everything is about the game this time with awesome new Pokemon tops that I did not see available on the Pokemon Center website! Perhaps an exclusive? You can order on-line, too:

The white fitted T has a vintage look to it with a freshly screened exuberant Pikachu on a "faded" Pokemon logo background; not to worry, the fading is a result of a clever application of a mirror image logo on the reverse side of the fabric, sure to survive many washes, allowing it to show through the very soft lightweight cotton, perfect for a hot summer day! What's even hotter than that? Why, the Pikachu "bolt" black ribbed tank featuring lightning bolts on the front and a charming Pikachu on the wearer's lower left side that wraps around to a tail in the back! PIKA! Both made from 100% cotton and available in a multitude of ladies' sizes--I haven't been so happy since I found ladies' Pikachu slippers at Wal-mart a few years back, as I've been "forced" to squeeze into boys' size large Target Pokemon T's for some time... ;) Both tops were $19.00 in-store; however, Hot Topic was running a 2-fer $25 on tanks (on-line, the tanks are $12.50 ea.). And don't worry if your "tag" is sticking out; the tags are almost as cute as the tops with a Pikachu/official Nintendo logo!

In other news, the new issue of Beckett's hit the racks last week at my local Barnes & Noble; continuing their series on the legends behind the monsters we have articles on the fan-fave "salamander"?!, Charmander, and the mysterious (and macabre!) Cubone! Also of note, Beckett's announced their new Diamond & Pearl guide:

In anticipation of the big release this week, most stores I visited over the weekend had Battle Revolution game guides already on the shelves for perusal. I guess I shouldn't mention I passed on a Wii at TRU last Thursday. But here's a little something Jakks for those of us on a tight budget:

I can soo ignore the mono sound cable because this thing is too cute! I wonder how it looks in HD?! :D At least the projected December release date won't cut into B.R.'s sales! ;D

Last, but definitely not least, Bandai has some new candy-toys from Japan! Check out these new keychains including Darkrai!

Let's not forget, too, that this year celebrates the release of the 10th Pokemon movie! Check out this little Pocket sized showcase!

Whew! Pika!
