Ex Carry Tins Arrive at TRU
Sept 6, 2006

The new Ex Carry Tins that just arrived at my local Toys R Us.  This is a UK scan:

The difference between what we get here in the US and what they got in the UK is that the tins here don't include a poster; the boosters inside are Ex Deoxys, Unseen Forces and Legend Maker along with a 2 card Series 3 POP promo booster. The artwork on the tins is spectacular, Deoxys vs. Rayquaza on the front, Groudon vs. Kyogre on the back. This is one of my favorite tins yet because of the attached, hinged lid with closing clasp and carry handle.

Also, at my Japanese grocer, I found 4 new Bandai wind up floating toys, Wailord, Kyogre, Pikachu on a boat and Manaphy on a boat; the Pikachu was sold out by the time I found these. I don't know why the Manaphy was left in abundance; I wonder if some folks don't realize yet that it is the star of the 2006 Japanese movie! :) Unfortunately, Bandai's site (Bandai's Site) did not have any scans yet. Mebbe someday I will have a digital camera, sigh... then again, if gas continues at $3/gallon... :P
