Arbok14's Hollow

Rhyper 2.0
December 31, 2008

Hey there readers! I have another deck fix for you today. It’s going to be short because it is late and I am tired, but hopefully it will be effective nonetheless. Anyway, we goes:

------------------------------

Hey ARBOK14

This is a deck that I have been working on since after the worlds (which I competed in (go GG) ). It's for the dp-on format and I have found it to work very well against dusk-ar , t-tar/darkrai , magmortar/heatran ,and kingdra. This deck has also won me 2 br's .Also I want to keep the energy for an almost automatic OHKO.   By the way my name is Ben

thanks ,Ben

------------------------------

Alright Ben, let me take a look:

Pokemon: This looks to be fine, so keep it as it is.

Trainers: All I can really say to put here are Super Scoop Up and Stark Mountain. Super Scoop Up is flippy, but it is great if you can bring back a heavily damaged Rhyperior Lv. X to your hand and promote a healthy Rhyperior and then level up on the same turn. Stark Mountain can help to move energy off and onto Farfetch’d. Also, add in 1 Rare Candy to help get more Rhyperiors quicker, especially for when you Super Scoop Up.

+4 Super Scoop Up

+2 Stark Mountain

+1 Rare Candy

Energy: Just take out the necessary energy to fit in the trainers and also put in 4 Call Energy. The Call Energy can definitely help if you get in trouble looking for basics, plus Rhyperior’s Hard Crush doesn’t specifically call for basic energy. 22 Fighting energy will still more that enough to put back into the deck.

-11 Fighting Energy

+4 Call Energy

Final Decklist:

Pokemon (14)

3x Rhyhorn (DP-095/130)

3x Rhydon (DP-060/130)

3x Rhyperior (DP-012/130)

1x Rhyperior Lv.X (LA-145/146)

4x Farfetch'd (SF-38/100)

Trainers (20)

4x Bebe's Search

2x Roseanne's Research

1x Luxury Ball

4x Rare Candy

4x Super Scoop Up

2x Stark Mountain

3x Premier Ball

Energy (26)

22x Fighting

4x Call Energy

Hopefully this will prove to be more efficient (even though you have already won two Battle Roads). The energy should still be enough, but I am worried about not having any Switch or Warp Point. Obviously if you have no problems with that, then don’t worry about it, but anything can and will happen, like a Warp Point on your active Rhyperior Lv. X when you only have a Rhyperior on your bench. Good luck!

As for everybody else, I need more decks to fix! The emails have gone dry the past few weeks, so I am open to any decks you want me to fix. I don’t want to fix stuff people sent months ago, so if I did skip over your submission, just send it again and hopefully I will fix it this time.
