Hey Arbok! I'm Eevee. I think I have a pretty good deck but I wanted someone elses opinion.

My deck is called Magma-jolt. It centers around doing high damage and spreading it around. It also focuses on taking out Water type Lv.X and the Kingdra/Empoleon decks. I mainly use it in tournaments so it would be a modified deck. I also use lot's of search cards to get my pokemon out on the field as fast as possible. I would really like to keep my Luxray line. Also my Magmortar line. (that's the only Lv.X I've been able to pull... ^_^')Altho I could swap around wich versions I use. I do tend to have trouble agianst the Groudon/ Claydol decks...

Okay, I like the idea for the deck, but let’s solidify the pokemon and trainer lines. I’ll start with the Pokemon:

 

Pokemon: OK, let’s start by eliminating the Manectric line in order to concentrate more with the Luxray/Magmortar. In place of the Manectric, add 2 Baltoy and 2 Claydol, to be just like every other deck out there. Also, take out the Azelf, mainly because the Magmortar Lv. X is not entirely necessary so I believe you can survive even if it is prized. In its place, add an Unown G for protection if you need it. Take out 1 Shinx and 1 Luxio, and replace them with 1 extra Magmortar and 1 extra Rayquaza so that you don’t have to constantly Night Maintenance back. Finally, replace the DP Luxray with another LA Luxray. You should never want to use DP Luxray, especially since the LA version is so much better in every way. Here are the changes:

Trainers: OK, let’s start by taking stuff out. Take out the Potions, TM Devolutor, PlusPowers, Cynthia’s Feelings, Rivals, and Buck’s Training. Next add 1 each of Bebe’s Search and Roseanne’s Research. Add 2 more Rare Candy to solidify Luxray’s line for speed. Add in 3 Professor Oak’s Visit. Next add 1 Stark Mountain and 1 Conductive Quarry. Also, add in 3 Energy Switch to combo with Rayquaza. Finally add 2 Warp Point to help switch out Magmortar for Luxray.

OK, so there is your deck. Hopefully now it will perform more consistently, and the draw power with the added supporters and Claydol should definitely help that. Rayquaza is great for getting energy back, and don’t be afraid to quietly build it up and switch it in for a massive 150. Unown G is pretty much a necessity today with all of the Gengars and Devolutor out there right now, so you may want more than 1. Oh, and Luxury Ball is a nice add in. I forgot about, but I am sure you can find something to take out if you want it
