Our heroes have now reached the pokemon center where several trainers happen to be.All are preparing for the silver conference.They see Mr.Goodshow who happens to be selling balloons.He tells them he has to treat all the tourists well.And tells Ash to do well at the Conference.Then our heroes reach the POkemon center which is a really big place.Our heroes enter the room in which our heroes will stay.Ash seems to enjoy himself at the room which has the lakes view.Then Brock tells him that he has to go to the trainers testing.They meet Gary who is confident as he's prepared for the conferene.Then Ash tells him that he'll beat him.At the testing the contestants will be shortened frm 200 to 45.Then at Ash's battle,the comp decides ash to choose his pokemon first and his oppenent next.Ash sends out Pikachu,Salvador(opponent)sends Furret.It looked like Pikachu nearly lost as Furret was coming from one hole knocking Pikachu and entering another hole.

But Pikachu clung on to Furret used thundershock and knocked furret out.then,Ash won his other two battles too using Phanpy versus Machoke and Cyndaquil versus Exeguttor.T.r are working at a hotel and are having tough time as waiters and Jesse loses her temper and starts eating the food so do James and meowth and the owner kicks them out.In the evening Ash sees the,48 other selected trainers Harrison and Gary are there too.Mr.Goodshow tells them that the 48 will be formed into teams and the one trainer getting more points will move futher.THen later in the night the eve of the inaguration of the conference Ash wakes up and so does Pikachu and go for a walk.Then they see Gary too and they start chatting.Gary recalls how ash had come late to the Pokemon Center and got Pikachu who never listened to him and now they were friends and what would have happened if Ash had come earlier then he'd have a different pokemon.Ash wonders why gary's recalling all that stuff.Then later on Gary tells he'll defeat Ash.

Then in the morning all the contestants are lined up,T.r come as officials and tell him he has to buy something else he'll be out of the contest.Gary sees Ash going after t.r and decides to follow Ash.Prof Oak is seeing the inaguration and tells Tracey to leave his job and come to see the inaguration.Prof.Elm to is seeing the ceremony.Then Ash's mother too is seeing it with Mr.Mime on her tv.Then t.r tie Ash .Gary unties ash and they chase t.r.t.r crash into the runner carrying the the torch and the torch goes falling.Ash catches Pikachu and gary catches the torch.they tell the runner to rest and Gary tells Ash to take the torch while he'll carry the torch bearer.Proffesors Elm and Oak are surprised so are Misty and Brock.Ash's mom is happy and then Ash lights the torch and with that the episode ends and the conference begin.
