Ability: Once per turn when this ship hits an enemy
ship, also eliminate one crew from that ship.
"The Shooter" is a nifty little secondary fighter
from the very first Pirates release. I never noticed
her before, probably because I like fast ships, but
for eight points, nobody expects perfection.
This ship has a mix of S-range and L-range cannons,
which is flexible and good. Her ability is a nasty
one; she can cripple a huge enemy gunship with one
shot by slaying the enemy Captain. She needs a
Helmsman as well as a Captain, which leaves one
cargo space free for gold that you might find
somewhere. Or, if you have the points free, you can
add one more crew; I'd suggest a Musketeer for a
fourth 3-rank cannon.
Every fleet, even a gold-heavy fleet, needs a small
fighter. A battle fleet definitely needs one to
support the big ships. El Tirador is that ship. Send
her out to shoot something!
