"The Hunger," or perhaps "The Hungry One." What an odd name for a ship!

But that's what her name means. Hungry for gold, perhaps? That's all she's likely to be good for.

Her speed isn't quite as good as the past couple of ships we've looked at, and her cargo and cannons aren't any better. But her ability is one that can be very useful for a gold ship. Basically, you head out at triple-S speed and come home at double-S speed. Not bad at all. One more point would buy you La Rosario, with permanent S+S+S speed, but maybe you don't own her.

Gold has always fascinated the Spanish, perhaps more than any other faction. El Hambre is an inexpensive but effective means of getting some.
