This week, we look at ships with colors in their names. Of the ones we haven't reviewed yet, the Golden Medusa may be the best of the bunch.

She's a fine ship, with excellent speed, decent cargo, and good cannons.
You could leave her crewless and use her for gold if the situation permits, or give her a fighting crew and use those good cannons on the enemy. Her linked crew, Lady Baptiste, gives a reroll, which is good for shooting and great for boarding. This makes her an above-average triple threat. Her point cost reflects this; it's high for a Pirate, but not at all out of line for what you're getting.

The Revolution release gave the Pirates two fine four-masted schooners, the Neptune's Hoard and this one. Both are flexible in their roles, something I always like. The Hoard is the better gold ship, while the Medusa is the better fighter. The two of them would make quite a team.
The Golden Medusa will be an asset to any Pirate fleet she joins.

Goldship rating: 3.9 / 5
Gun Ship rating: 4.1 / 5
Boarding rating: 3.7 / 5
