Cannot be destroyed by battle or card effects. Once per turn, when your opponent activates a monster effect (Quick Effect): You can detach 1 material from this card; negate the activation, then, if that monster is on the field, gain control of it.

Hello Pojo Fans,

Number F0: Utopic Draco Future wraps up the week and is a retrain of yesterdays card: Utopic Future.

Three monsters instead of two are needed, same requirements as yesterday so no “Number” monsters. Three Xyz monsters needed is A LOT even for something like Zoodiac, but being able to use “Utopic Future” as the only material helps: make Utopic Future using two Xyz monsters and then Xyz climb into this. Treated as “Utopic Future” works with only needing “Utopic Future” for this card’s summon. Battle and card destruction protection make it a great wall like the original Utopic Future. Monster negation once per turn is broader than yesterday’s effect, and being able to steal the monster activating the effect permanently is better than yesterday’s steal effect as well. Utopic Draco forces your opponent to commit to negating Draco Future or playing around the negation by using a monster to eat up the negation. On your turn Draco Future is a hand trap stopper or prevent any backlash you may get from destroying a monster. On your opponent’s turn you can stop their turn momentum and get their monster for one material: a plus is a plus and you have field advantage as well.

With Utopic Draco Future existing it makes Utopic Future obsolete really. Better steal effect, same protections and the negation ability is better…and it has ATK/DEF in addition to the battle protection!

The week ends off with the monster you’re likely throwing on top of the original Number F0 as we look at Number F0: Utopic Draco Future.

Draco Future is a Rank 1 (always treated as such) LIGHT Warrior with 3000 ATK and 2000 DEF. Great stats overall and that same Type/Attribute combo. 3 Xyz Monsters with the same Rank that aren’t Numbers can summon this, or you can throw this on top of Number F0: Utopic Future to get this with just 2 Xyzs and still have the same materials. Either way, both are achievable to get this out. This is always treated as a Utopic Future card, which makes me wonder why not just name it Utopic Future Draco? Anyways, it cannot be destroyed by battle or card effects, which is a straight upgrade to yesterday needing materials for the second part. The only other effect is a soft once per turn Quick Effect to detach a material when an opponent activates a monster effect to negate that effect and then you can take control of said monster if it was on the field. Monster effect negation in 2021 is really good, but the ability to steal what you negated is just insane, especially considering you aren’t giving it back. If you get something else that can negate an effect, you can now use that to your advantage and put your opponent in a tough situation. Just stealing any monster at least gives you another body to attack with or use as material for a Synchro, Xyz, or Link Summon. This card overall is very good and I’d say should be a staple in any Deck using the same Rank of Xyzs constantly, especially Rank 4 spam. This is insanely good.

Art: 5/5 Number F0 meets Number 99 and I love it, nice addition with Yuma’s pendant as well.

So yesterday’s card went through a Draco-morphosis of sorts, with everything being the same, save this card has 3000 attack (and 2000 defense) but everything else holds here from there.  Three XYZ Monsters of the same Rank needed this time, and of course, you can use yesterday’s card as Material, so you’ve got an even bigger investment this time.  Is the payoff there today?  Immunity to Battle and Card Effect destruction is amazing; let’s not pretend that it isn’t.  All the XYZ Material do pay off for his protection Effect, a Quick, which lets you detach a Material to negate an opponent’s Monster Effect, and take control of said Monster, as long as it remain(s/ed) on the Field.  Your opponent would have to burn through a LOT of Material pretty quickly, so that Effect should help you a lot, even at Once per Turn, factoring in his other protection built-in.  So that’s a clear improvement across the board.  As far as a boss goes, which Utopia has many, this isn’t bad.  It’s fine for them, but as for other cards, there’s better, stronger, quicker cards to do these things…and more.  But even so, that doesn’t keep this from being a fair card.

Art:  4/5  Appreciate the Draco look Utopia has undergone in this pic.
