Sony will soon start selling a small GPS (global positioning system) unit that can be used to add location information to digital pictures, the company said today.

REYKJAVIK, ICELAND - JULY XX, 2006 - CCP is now an official Contributing Sponsor of the Gen Con Indy Show in Indianapolis, Indiana, August 10-13, 2006 where it will launch its first Collectible Card Game called EVE: The Second GenesisT, announced earlier this month.

"EVE: The Second Genesis CCG, based on the background setting of EVE- OnlineR, challenges the players to survive in the cruel corporate world of the future. Players take the role of an aspiring corporate CEO with a single starbase under their control," says Ingolfur Aevarsson, Marketing Director of EVE: The Second Genesis. "Their goal is to maintain a steady income flow to expand their empire with starfleets, cunning tactics, and dirty tricks in order to gain power
and bring their rivals to their knees."

CCP will have a 128-person tournament at Gen Con in Hall G of the Indianapolis Convention Center on Saturday, August 12th with cash prizes totaling $10,000. The tournament will be open to everyone and since EVE: The Second Genesis will be launched at the show, those competing will have as equal a chance of winning as possible.

The tournament will be a Swiss double elimination tournament with cash prizes for the top 32 players, with additional prizes for random players between rounds. A double elimination tournament is a competition where participants are eliminated from the tournament upon having lost two matches. All players will receive a starter deck free of charge when they come to the EVE booth for a demonstration. They can then reconstruct and enhance their decks by purchasing booster packs at the show floor. Further tournament details will be disclosed at the beginning of the tournament.
