This card is perfect for a good lockdown deck, and it goes well with Jhudora’s Evil Eye and Pant Devil Attacks.  The only downsides I see is that you can’t start another contest once you play this card, and not a lot of lockdown decks use potions.

Rating: 3.5/5 in lockdown decks.

Jhudora's Quest

Fate | Quest | Dark

To play this, you need a Dark Neopet.  You can't start another contest on the turn you play this card.  When this Neopet banks a Potion, this Neopet's controller looks at his or her opponent's hand, chooses 2 cards there, and discards them.  Then discard this Quest.

We're starting off our Fate week with a nice hand control Quest.  This quest allows you to discard two cards from your opponent's hand, and it really only costs you this one card.  Since it's a Quest, you won't be able to start any more contests after it's played, but that doesn't hurt if you play it at the end of your turn.  Bori Miner's can help you get around that requirement too...

The best potions to use with this are Bottle of Grarrl (4 bank pts), Shadow Breeze (4 bank pts), or Tagobo Potion (3 bank pts, +2 to all Neopet stats until end of turn).  If you're playing Water, I'd also recommend Healing Potion (2 bank pts, untap a Neopet).  If those 4 don't work for you, there's 13 other potions to choose from ;)

Being a Dark Faerie type fits in well with most of the other hand control cards.  Even just this and some Intimidates can really knock your opponent out.

Ratings:

This card has definate potential.  The only real downside is having to wait to start/win that contest to bank a potion.  Otherwise, taking two cards from your opponent at a cost of one for yourself, especially when you get to choose which two they lose, is a good trade any day.  4.1 of 5.
