Paul Hagan  *GREY FAERIE*
I'll probably get a bunch of e-mails over this, but oh well: I don't like this card. I keep hearing a lot of hype about this card, but I honestly don't see the attraction. It seems mediocre at best as far as Heroes go, and the ability can mess up your opponent and help you, but not by a lot.

Rating: 2.0, at least until I understand why its supposed to be good.

Grey Faerie

Hero | Faerie

Strength 12 | Agility 12 | Magic 12 | Intelligence 12

To play this, tap 1 of your Neopets.  All Neopets lose their Faerie types while this Hero is in play.  You may play cards that normally need you to have or to tap a Neopet of a particular Faerie type by having or tapping any Neopet while this Hero is in play.

This is a very interesting hero.  The stats are mediocre across the board with a 12 in every arena.  The effect of this hero can really open up some options for the current turn, or for the entire game if you equip a Lisha's Wand (as Adam posted on neopets.com in his CotD).  By using Grey Faerie, you can use a SHH or equipment card that you don't have the right Faerie type for but would really break your game open.  Then again, the new Faerie Dust can do almost the same thing, plus it gives you a stat boost, and doesn't help your oppenent.

Ratings:

Grey Faerie really isn't a bad card.  A 12 will win almost everytime vs any basic neopet, plus the effect can be pretty helpful too.  I see the usefulness declining as more expansions are released.  For now, I'll give it a 3.6 of 5.

This is the first review of the week. And a pretty interesting card at that. But first, i hope everyone had a good Vallentines day and is having a great Presidents day. But lets look at this card now.

Grey faerie has one of thoes effects that can seriously help out a new player who has a mumble jumble deck made of every and anything. And for serious players this card has great potential. This Hero pretty much makes a hero, villan, or certain equips and items cards playable by any neopet. That is something that anybody could use. And ive seen this card used before. Its almost like the opponent wants it to stay on the field. This is one of thoes cards that you want to be nice to because its nice to you. That is also a game winning stratagy. Lets look at the good and bad things of this card like normal.

Pros+
When in play all neopets loose their Faerie type.
Decent Over all stats with nice effect

Cons-
Allows the opponent to loose his faerie types

If this card is used right it can be very good. Now i wouldnt go flaunting this card around because of its effect because, trust me, there are much better cards out there.
I give this an overall score of
3.9/5- I give it this score because some people just dont like this card. They will beat it any which way they can. These people are mostly people that use certain deck types like dark, water, ect. And they will not go easy on it. So i suggest having a back up to this card.

Also later this week watch for my first addition to the site! Killer Card Combos!
