Ah, sloth. My favorite sin, and one that all of us card reviewers must have been enjoying lately, since there haven't been any reviews! Of course, Sloth is also the evil genius of Neopets.com. Sloth's Master Plan, as well as all of Sloth's plans, is very powerful, but has some large problems and drawbacks.

The ability to discard all Villains from play is excellent! This will help get rid of Villains that can't be removed in normal Villain contests. If someone is annoying you with Shadow Usuls, you can get rid of them instead of returning them to your opponent's hand. If someone has teamed up Dr. Sloth with a Symol Warrens, this will clear out that arena as very few other things can. The biggest benefit from this card is against Villain decks. You could wait until your opponent has four Villains out and then wipe them all out at once!

Although this card sounds great so far, there are a few problems with it.
First, you have to tap and discard a card to use it. Obviously, keeping a nice handful of cards is important in any tcg and this one in particular, making this a hefty little cost for playing the card. Also, most players play Villains. This card doesn't just affect your opponent's Villains, but yours as well. You'd need to play this at just the right time in order to avoid destroying your Villain and leaving your own weak arena open.

If you're playing Earth or a lot of people in your area play Villain heavy decks, you'll probably reserve a couple spots for Sloth's Master Plan.
Otherwise, there are other better options for other faerie types.

After being a little slothy ourselves, we return to CotD with an interesting old SHH, Sloth's Master Plan.

Since Villain decks have been gaining more and more popularity lately, it's kind of a surprise that there really hasn't been much mention of this card anywhere.  Afterall, this card can destroy every single Villain in play in one swipe!

The downside is the element and cost.  Earth is one of the least popular Faerie types right now.  This card would have worked with Light much better.  In addition to tapping an Earth Neopet, you must discard a card from your hand in order to activate this card.

If you aren't playing Dark and/or Light instead, you'd probably want to consider Darigan, Redeemed.  He costs two taps to play, but you do get to use the hero in a contest after destroying all the Villains.  If you're just looking to get rid of a particularily pesty Villain, Banishment is the way to go, getting rid of every copy of that Villain from your opponent's deck and hand, as well as the one on the field.

If you're having a lot of problems with Villains and you play Earth, this is definately a viable option.  However, a tap and a discard is a bit pricey.  But, for an old card, it's still got plenty of usefullness left.  I give it a 3.4 of 5
