Jiraiya
The Reliance version of Jiraiya is simply nice. When
he's put in play (not necessarily deployed) you
search for one Naruto Uzumaki in your deck that's
turn 4 or lower and put him in play. This means that
even the Tailed-Beast Mode versions of Naruto can be
put in play with this effect, making this Jiraiya
good for Unlimited format. Along with Mastery, this
Jiraiya could be good if played right.
Today's promo is one of the Target Promos and
another card in the [Reliance] series (although it
really doesn't do anything for the theme). This
version of Jiraiya now has Mastery, which is a nice
bonus even if he has a drop in his injured stats.
When he is put in play, you can search your deck for
a Naruto with an EC of 4 or less and put it in play.
This is great late game if you missed your Naruto
and gaining two ninjas in one turn is even more
important late game. A very simple and solid
Jiraiya.
