A sentinel deck needs to be fast - very fast.  It's the only way it really wins.  It also needs a LOT of character cards, and runs more plot twist light.  This helps, by allowing you to play one from your hand, and recover one from your resource row, allowing your resource row to have almost anything played in it and be useful.  I wish it cost 1 less, but I think this was the balanced point for the card.

In limited, it's pretty much garbage.  Certainly not going to get a Sentinel theme going there.

A nice way to double your sentinel army quickly. Sentinels are all about death by numbers, and though they are weak on their own, they are pretty nasty when you have them in great numbers.  Base's biggest drawback is it's high threshold cost.  If you can find away to survive that, you'll be able to get a few extra sentinel characters out to help the cause late game.

In limited, there is no way this card is worth putting in a deck.  The sentinel arsenal is very small, and there just aren't enough to make a focused deck.

A nice card in principle, this lets you put extra Sentinel characters from your resource row into your front or support row for free. Unfortunately, the threshold cost for this card is quite high, and it makes this marginally playable, in my opinion. You only get the extra character starting in the fifth turn, at the cost of locking your resources at 5. Maybe with enough small characters you can overwhel an army that takes a while to get going, but this strategy leaves you completely vulnerable to other fast decks.

In limited, I'd doubt you'd have enough sentinels to make this playable.

I find myself sitting on the fence on this card. On one hand, I've had games where my opponent drops a Nimrod, Mutant Hunter and follows up by flipping this card to make a free Sentinel, Mark IV, which is never fun to deal with. On the other hand, I look and Sentinels and see *so many* Locations and Plot Twists that they can play the resource row and wonder how often you start putting quality characters down there as opposed to, say, Reconstruction Program or South American Sentinel Base.

Not having any extensive first-hand knowledge in playing with Sentinels, I'll go out on a limb and say this card probably warrents a couple of slots in any Sentinel deck, if only to help make up in quantity what Sentinels seem to lack in quality.

In limited, I've learned to rarely draft up Sentinels, as you won't usually get enough of them to be effective. Guilt by association makes this card low quality in limited.
