This is a causal Standard Blue/Green deck that I put together a few weeks ago and it has so far won more games than lost. The bouncing (Temporal Springs, Boomerang and Repel) cards pretty much slows your opponent down, while your creatures go on the offence. "Shifty Wurm" 3 Shifty Doppelganger 3 Penumbra Wurm 4 Gaea’s Skyfolk 4 Wild Mongrel 4 Jungle Barrier 2 Mystic Snake 2 Mirari 4 Boomerang 4 Temporal Spring 4 Repel 2 Peek 2 Predict 4 Yavimaya Coast 8 Forest 10 Island A couple of combos here that work are the Shifty Wurm and Bouncing Mirari. Drop Shifty Doppelganger down and use its ability to bring in the P. Wurm with haste and trample! When P. Wurm leaves play, its token stays behind to get the job done. One best case scenario I had recently was when getting the Wurm out on turn 4 and my opponent surrendering on his next turn. With the Mirari in play and enough mana, you should be bouncing 2 permanents with a single card. Thus clearing the way for your Skyfolk and Mongrels. You can also use the Spring and Repel with Predict combo. Put the card on top of your opponent's library and then predict it away. But don't be afraid to use the Predict on its own with you have to. Some strategies to consider. So far these have worked for me but things may be different in your case. Keep bouncing whenever you have a bouncer in your hand, donąt wait for your Mirari combo. Bounce lands if there are no creatures around. The Jungle Barrier buys you time while you get your creatures out. If you are playing sideboard, put in at least 2 Washouts. Also think about side boarding 4 Aether Burst or Repulse against those heavy creature decks. Some of opponents’ cards that I have problems with are Meddling Mages as well as Sligh and some Blue counter decks. Slow decks are usually the easiest to take out. Think about replacing the two Peeks and two Predicts. They are ok but I feel that they aren't really living up to their true potential here. I had four Careful Studies before but they didn't work out. Counterspells are in my sideboard against Sligh. This deck reaches Threshold pretty fast but i have yet to find any suitable Threshold cards for the deck. Any suggestions? You can email me at melyong8@singnet.com.sg Thank you for your time.
