New Type 2 Deadzone

The Deadzone:
First of all I would like to say I have been playing magic for 3 years and
have just recnetly tried to make ptq's and tournaments so it is tough for me
to tell others what to play.  Since I do a lot of online play I decide to
test plenty of rogue ideas that may be formidable.  Much like in this case i
modified a great deck so it would fit my playing style and the ability to
afford which is pretty hard for me.  The deck I chose today was Brian
Kibler's Red Zone.  Basically I have changed some of the cards and instead
of white I use black.  By the way the only reasons I go rogue are because
they don't know whats coming and its fun to see someone get beatdown by a
crappy deck.(not saying my decks are crappy but they aren't the best)

Heres my decklist:
4 Chimeric Idol
4 River Boa
1 Darigaaz, the Ignitor
4 Blastoderm
4 Birds of Paradise
4 Llanowar Elves
4 Shivan Wurm
4 Ancient Hydra
4 Void
3 Darigaaz's Charm
1 Dust Bowl
4 Rishadan Port
4 Karplusan Forest
4 Sulfurous Springs
3 City of Brass
6 Forests
1 Mountain
1 Swamp

Card by card now:
Chimeric Idol:
What do I need to say about the idol it is the best artifact in T2 and one
of the best creatures available.  At 3 mana it cna be played b4 a derm and
is hard 2 kill. no questions asked.

River Boa:
This is your key card against any form of blue control deck.  It slips past
any counter magic they can be packing and it is hard to kill and block.
They are stuck taking 2 every turn and you win.

Darigaaz, the Ignitor:
Well I was debating whether or not to take out one of these for another wurm
and decided to since Darigaaz isn't as powerful as Kiblers Rith and I could
go without drawing it.  But if he does get on the board you can claim the
game for yourself.

Blastoderm:
It's Blastoderm what else do you need to say.

Birds and Elves:
Besides speeding up your mana pace the birds can produce mana of any color
mkaing you have to use pain lands less.  Against decks without fliers
charmed birds can swoop in for the kill.

Shivan Wurm:
OMG a 7/7 trmpler for 5 mana.  I went ballistic when I say this card.  Look
at elves and birds all you have to do is bounce tem and you get something
huge.  I chose this over the leech because the object of the deck is to kill
fast and since you got derm at 4 mana you can have 2 larger creatures at 5
mana for a faster kill.  You dont want to be leeched of mana in the late
game when board control is critical.

Ancient Hydra:
This was the biggest rogue of the deck and it still is.  Why do i love it 3
words: birds, elves, and angels.  All the major creature threats can be
burned away as well as mana creatures while you get a 5/1 that can burn them
to death.

Void:
Replacing Armageddon cause were not playing white this is supporting your
main idea of total creature removal.  Void is the keg that a deck like this
need to eliminate opposing creatures like derm or ones you cant block or get
by.  Also the discard ability is amazing in certain matchups like w/g where
a lot of cards are equally costed.  Aginst geddon decks you usually want to
do this for 4 before geddon is cast.

Darigaaz's Charm:
It was this or terminate and i figured this was a more versatile card with
three abilies and could better replace wax\wane.  Lets analyze each ability
first.  Returning a creature can fetch you any of your fadin creatures, any
lost in creature combat, and any disposed of by spells and lets them see the
light again and may be even win the game.  Doing 3 damage can end the game,
win creature combat, or get rid of those vast idols in T2.  Finally +3/+3
can be used on your birds to sweep in for the win or can just straight out
win creature combat.  All in all it is better than Rith's Charm and I think
can take over for wax\wane.

Dust Bowl:
Kills port, pain lands, tap lands, and city of brass.

Pain Lands:
With a ton of different colored cards you need 4 of each in your deck or
you'll find yourself mana screwed.

Ports:
A must have against control and other speed decks.

Sideboard:
4 Simoon(for birds and elves and skies and creature combat)
3 Tsabo's Decree(Crushes Rebel Decks)
3 Hull Breach(idols, bursts, waves, tides, ankhs, etc.)
4 Kavu Chameleon(against control)
1 Canopy Surge(against Skies)

And for you cheap players go fires:
4 Fires of Yavimaya
4 Kavu Cameleon
4 Llanovar Elves
4 Quiron Elves
2 Sparkcaster
4 Blastoderm
3 Anceint Hydra
3 River Boa
4 Assault\Battery
4 Chimeric Idol
4 Shivan Oasis
13 Forests
7 Mountains
