I think it's an amazing common in any deck that combines green and another 
color.  And for the green focused all color decks?  You could run nothing 
but Forest in your deck, along with Channel the Suns, Joiner Adept, Birds 
of Paradise and whatever else your wild imagination can think of.  The best 
part about this card is that you dont have to tap to use the
ability and hes a 1/1 for G.   Fantasitic!

For limited, I think he is still a solid pick in any green deck, with all 
the snakes I have seen running around.  Multi color deck with green?  
No question!
