Power Conduit 2
Artifact
T, Remove a counter from a permanent you control: Choose one - Put a charge counter on target artifact or put a +1/+1 counter on target creature.

Alright then, as we have seen, a theme of Mirrodin to try and get people to utilize counters to their advantage. With that in mind, this card will become very powerful indeed. Just note that if you have really nothing to move counters with, there's always putting charge counters on Power Conduit as a last resort. Obvious combos include:

Decree of Silence: This with the Conduit means near infinite counterspells, just taking off the depleation counters to keep the Decree in play.

Quicksilver Fountain: Though I have never seen anyone bother trying this lockdown, it might be decent if one can prevent artifact destruction ;p.
Anyways, another obvious combo: use the Conduit to keep Flood counters off your land, forcing your opponent to play blue, as well as keeping the Fountain's ability in play.

Chalice of the Void: Alright then, this isn't so obvious. The problem with this combo is that the spell will be countered only at the moment the spell is played AND the number of counters match. So no changing the number of counters as a reponse to them playing it. Still, it's not too bad: play the Chalice for 0, then charge it up with counters the easy way. Good if short on mana. Heck, play a Telepathy just to make your opponent edgy as well.

Riptide Replicator: Speaking of charging in that fashion, do the same for this. Play it out to produce 0/0 tokens, then make those tokens bigger with conduits. Imagine...5/5 Pentavite tokens....wait...doesn't Pentavus use
+1/+1 counters? Triskelion?

Serum Tank: Well, since artifact lands don't count as "coming into play,"
and I've constantly found myself short on counters to draw. Well, a conduit could nicely change that.

For quick fix:
Clockwork Beetle: 1 for two counters pretty much. In fact, any of the clockwork creatures can give ya a nice supply. Crystal Shard is a nice addition if playing blue: bounce creatures that get counters when coming into play once they're almost exhausted. But for continuous supplies:

Myr Prototype, Forgotten Ancient, Clockwork Vorrac, Battlegrowth: These guys can easily pump out a steady supply of counters to be able to manipulate with your Conduit.

Alright then, this is pretty much an obvious list. However, once Darksteel and Fifth Dawn come out...well, goddess knows what Wizards has up their sleeves for counters. Just keep in mind there's a whole bunch of older cards (Hydras, spikes,....) that would just love to combo with this sucker.
