Subject: Marsh Viper (Poison counters) with Psionic Gift by Eric Lau For those of you that are old school magic players, you might have a card called Marsh Viper (Fourth and Fifth edition, The Dark). Marsh Viper 3F, 1/2 If Marsh Viper damages a player, he or she gets two poison counters. If a player has ten or more poison counters, he or she loses the game. Note that it says damages a player, and not combat damage. So, combine this with Psionic Gift 1U (Odyssey) Enchant Creature, tap to deal 1 damage to any creature or player) and you have a creature that will end the game in five or less rounds. I suggest you to combine this with twiddle or other untapping things (puppet strings, whatever), and throw in four marsh vipers. Regardless, if the enemy doesnt have disenchant or a creature removal on hand, the game will end pretty fast. Other cards that work with this combo are Serpent Generator (Legends, Chronicles, Fifth Edition) 6 Colorless 4, T: Put a poison snake token into play. Treat this token as a 1/1 artifact creature. Whenever a poison snake damages a player, he or she gets a poison counter. When a player has ten or more poison counters, he or she loses the game. Pit Scorpion (Legends, Fourth and Fifth Edition) 2B If Pit Scorpion damages a player, he or she gets a poison counter. If any player has ten or more poison counters, he or she loses the game. Except for the Serpent Generator, which is a rare, Marsh Viper and Pit Scorpion are both commons, so they shouldnt be too costly if you can find them. Eric Kam-Chuing Lau restrainedsword@hotmail.com
