Onslaught's Words cycle of cards provides plenty of draw-skipping tricks up its sleeve. When comboed with the powerful card-drawing engine Slate of Ancestry and a slew of quick, efficient creatures backed by mana acceleration, one member of the cycle in particular, Words of War, turns into a board-clearing, opponent-burning nightmare!

Llanowar Elves Mourn for this when it leaves Type II. One of green's greatest one-drops is to be no more.
Birds of Paradise The Birds return in Type II, and their multi-color power of mana acceleration is absolutely invaluable.
Ravenous Baloth A 4/4 for four mana is efficient. Couple that with a life-extending ability to sac itself to net you four life and you have an excellent beast.
Basking Rootwalla Great for early game pressure or handy for being Madnessed in by a Mongrel.
Wild Mongrel The top dog (or in this case, hound) lends its 2/2 body and discarding power to the early onslaught of this deck.
Squirrel Nest Absolutely hilarious when it draws you three hands of cards in concert with the Slate or assists in blowing up your opponent's board via Words of War.
Exalted Angel A quality flier that can move the balance of the game heavily in your favor with its life-gaining power.
Glory Despite Withered Wretch, still great for dashing past a mono-colored defense and dealing the death blow.
Wrath of God When Words of War can't do it alone, Wrath's there to sweep the board clean and start over.
Words of War The only direct damage spell in the deck can incinerate all of your foe's creatures and disintegrate his life total all at once.
Mirari's Wake The power of this enchantment ramps up your mana for massive draw skips to Words of War and also pumps your creatures.
Phantom Nishoba Nothing's more annoying than a Phantom creature, especially a 7/7 one with trample and its own Spirit Link.
Slate of Ancestry Card-drawing power abounds in this artifact.
