Subject: Sliver's Revenge part 2 Sliver's Revenge part 2 Lol, I think I accidentally sent the first part of my email message before I had finished it, sorry. (AOL is such a pain in the neck) So, the other interesting combo that I use my Sliver deck is a pair of creature enchantments: *Predatory Hunger: Whenever any opponent succesfully casts a creature spell, put a +1/+1 counter on enchanted creature. *Sadistic Glee: Whenever any creature goes into any graveyard from play, put a +1/+1 counter on enchanted creature. And to pump up my creatures even more , I also use a few Magma Slivers in the deck; it's an excellent Legions rare Sliver. And I also threw in a few Metallic Slivers from Tempest, just to have a few more 1/1 Slivers. Strictly optional, but helpful. These combos work well enough together that I havent got really many other spells at all in the deck besides the staple Black spells of Unholy Strength and Dark Rituals to help in getting Toxin Sliver out sooner. Anyways, here's the deck list: 4 Sadistic Glee 4 Predatory Hunger 4 Unholy Strength 3 Dark Rituals 3 Metallic Slivers 4 Hunter Slivers 4 Crypt Slivers 4 Toxin Slivers 4 Muscle Slivers 2 Magma Slivers 5 Forest 4 Mountain 6 Swamp I have playtested this deck pretty extensively, and I can happily say that the deck works very very effectively. The mana curve is probably the deck's most useful feature -- Sadistic Glee, Predatory Hunger, Metallic Sliver, Unholy Strength and Dark Ritual all cost only one mana each; The Hunter, Toxin and Crypt Sliver cost only two mana each; and really the only creature in the deck that cost more than two mana are the Toxin Sliver and Magma Sliver at a reasonable four each. There are no creatures or spells in the deck costing over 4 mana -- very good for you, very bad news for your opponent. And did I mention that this deck is very fun to play with? This thing gets out of control so quickly that it's just sick to watch it in action. ;) Wow, I just realized how long this whole deck description was. I'd better end it here, hehehe. Have fun trying to replicate this deck, for those interested. It's mostly out of Tempest and Legions. Have fun playing MtG, David Lebedoff {P.S. -- to help you try to figure out where part one of this email message went, part one was discussing the combo involving toxin slivers, hunter slivers and crypt slivers, hope that helps. Oh, and delete this bit on the end of the message after you figure it out. ;) }
