Subject: traumatize + guiltfeeder Hi all, I noticed that there haven't been many card combo strategys posted lately so I thought I would share one that is in my new deck, since some of the articles on here inspitred it: traumatize and the guiltfeeder. there's been a lot of talk about traumatize, and well there should be: it's a very powerful card, and can sway a game one way or the other depending on when it's played. the cards: Card:Guiltfeeder Type: Creature - Horror Color: Black Set: Judgment Mana Cost: 3BB P/T: 0/4 Rarity: Rare Text: Guiltfeeder can't be blocked except by artifact and/or black creatures. Whenever ~this~ attacks and isn't blocked, target player loses 1 life for each card in his or her graveyard. Card: Traumatize Type: Sorcery Color: Blue Set: Odyssey Cost: 3UU Rarity: Rare Text: Target player puts the top half of his or her library, rounded down, into his or her graveyard. Flavor Text:Dreads had half a mind to leave. how I use it: get the guilt feeder out, but only when you already have traumatize(tutor for it) you don't want to leave it on the board long enough for them to do anything with it. I also like to have a recoil in my hand if I am playing against white, so that if they put something like pacify on the feeder, I can remove it at least long enough to use the feeder once(all it takes usually) on the turn you get to attack with the feeder, fire off the traumatize first which should get about 30 cards in their graveyard.. attack, and usually the game ends(unless they have been gaining a lot of life) the guilt feeder is a great choice because it gets around cards like CoP:Black and moment's peace, and even worship because it does not inflict damage, it causes loss of life... there's a difference! the only thing that might seem to stop this is a black creature right? well, that's when I board in something like Leshrac's Rite or another enchantment that grants swampwalk! I put this combo into my discard/megrim deck and it works great.. use the discard stuff to keep things like wrath of god and mutilate from them, and make this a 2 turn manuever... also the discard stuff will make their grave pretty think all by itself, so if they counter the traumatize(and you can't counter the counter) :) there is still a fat enough graveyard to make this work. enjoy! -Wayne wafry@prodigy.net
