Fast and reliable, these creatures often reduce other OBC decks to 10 or less life by turn 4 or 5. Cephalid Looter: Somewhat underrated for U/G quiet roar, it is more expensive than Merfolk looter, which is what I would run if this was T2, but still can help win the game, especially if you hit a land clump in the midgame. Works with madness, Wonder, and Roar of the Wurm. Wonder: Flying 6/6 tokens. Nice. Quiet Spec.: Wurms and Deep Analysis Aether Burst: Buys time, especially in mirror matches when your opponent doesn't play it in their deck. Deep analysis: 4 cards for 6 mana and 3 life. Basically, you trade 4 for 1, resulting in huge card advantage. Circular Logic: Best counterspell for this deck. Syncopate could be substituted if Quiet Roar is popular in your city's Grand Prix metagame. Sideboard: Anti U/B and Monoblack. Upheaval could be a problem, but Circular logic could stop any Upheavals or Psychatogs left on the board. By: Aaron (Last name withheld) at ajc398@aol.com
