Subject: Anthony A.: Stitch-Up, the New Reanimator. Type II

Here's another deck idea from me, formerly Anthony700@aol.com. It focuses on a revolution in the Odyssey Block Type II environment (this is after Invasion Block rotates out). What is that revolution? The Reanimator deck!
Reanimator decks have been thought to be confined to the Extended environment, seeing as how Reanimate and a slew of super-powered creatures are present there. Could Standard have its own Reanimator? The answer is yes thanks to Odyssey's multiple cards focusing on pitching stuff to the graveyard and this deck's namesake: the black spell Stitch Together.
This deck plays just like its Extended counterparts. It throws things into the graveyard left and right until it comes across its Stitch Together and has a huge creature in the graveyard, then promptly resurrects it and protects it with efficient spot-removal and an arsenal of countermagic as it obliterates its foes, usually as early as turn three.

    Here's a card-by-card of the deck.
Chainer's Edict Making an opponent sacrifice his own creature is sheer fun, but when you add in the Edict's cheap casting cost of 1B and ability to flash back for 5BB, it becomes a little scary.
Innocent Blood Removal for just B I would most certainly take, especially when you can use it and not have to sacrifice a creature yourself should an opposing creature pop up early on.
Stitch Together The deck's namesake, its ability to gain Threshold by turn three and use Stitch Together's Threshold ability to reanimate a huge creature into play gives this deck its destructive power.
Hypnox A huge 8/8 flyer, this deck can hand-cast it and nuke its opponent's hand.
Sengir Vampire An old-time favorite, its a 4/4 flyer that can grow larger and also can be naturally hand-cast.
Morality Shaft This was included as an emergency measure should the game drag on for a very long time. It also allows you to resurrect all of your numerous graveyard-ridden cards and reuse them.

Mental Note In a deck like this, this card is super-powered, putting three cards in the graveyard (including itself) and drawing you another card in the process for only U.

Counterspell Need I say more?

Circular Logic Another card tailor-made for this deck, it can counter a spell very cost-effectively for only 2U and also has a very nice Madness cost.

Careful Study Just like Mental Note only better.

Compulsion Another included cycler that unfortunately is very mana-intensive but has a very good cycler ability.

Phantom Nishoba All of the Phantom creatures are nigh impossible to kill, and the Nishoba is probably the toughest of them all. Clocking in at a 7/7 with all of its counters and complete with a built-in Armadillo Cloak, its a shoe-in for this deck.

Iridescent Angel Odyssey's best creature has flying and protection from all colors, and in a deck like this can come into play on turn three!

Gurzigost A massive 6/8 with a Thorn Elemental and graveyard cycling ability is too good to pass up, especially since it can be hand-cast with the Cities.
