Subject: Solitary Confinement: Broken By Ertai the Arrogant

This my second invulnerability combination(See Fields
Up!). While it may not be as playable as my previous
synergetic brainchild, it still has great potential,
especially in Type 2 (With Invasion block cycling out
however, this will soon be unusable in the format).

There are 2-3 parts to this combination. The third
part is optional, but is integral in it's own way. As
for the first:

Solitary Confinement 2W Enchantment

Skip your draw step.

At the beginning of your upkeep discard a card or
sacrifice Solitary Confinement.

Prevent all damage that would be dealt to you.

You can't be the target of spells or abilities.
 
Another great card with nearly equal disadvantages.
Obviously I have found a remedy to offset these
conditions:

Phyrexian Arena 1BB Enchantment

During your upkeep draw a card and lose 1 life.

Simple enough. Phyrexian Arena compensates for the
absence of the draw phase, by having you draw during
your upkeep. Absolute invincibility at the cost of one
life per turn and a discarded card, and you are also
immune to targeting spells and abilities. Not bad. Of
course you also have the options to draw even more by
playing additional arenas. But what of the life loss?
That's what this next card is for:

Dega Sanctuary 2W Enchantment

During your upkeep if you control a red or black
permanent gain 2 life.

If you control both a red and a black permanent gain 4
life instead.

Of course there are alternative means of gaining life,
but this is one of the most reliable, as you can
always be sure on gaining the needed life during your
upkeep. The more you play, the better, and the more
Arena's you can afford to play, without putting
yourself in jeopardy.

The sum total of this three part combo?

#1: Immunity to damage.
#2: You cannot be targeted by spells or abilities.
#3: You can potentially have excellent card draw
proportionate to the number of Arenas you play.
#4: You gain life during your upkeep proportionate to
the number of Arenas you play.
#5: You have widely negated the negative effects of
the cards involved in this synergy.
