Subject: Fields Up! Invulnerability Strategy By Ertai the Arrogant The concept behind this strategy is both simple and exceptionally powerful. There are two main components in order to achieve relative invulnerability. First off, we have Energy Field from Urza's Saga: 1U Enchantment Prevent all damage dealt to you by sources you do not control. Whenever a card is put into your graveyard, sacrifice energy field. Amazing card, if it were not for that huge drawback, right? The question of which brings us to the other card in this devious duo: Yawgmoth's Agenda from Invasion. 3BB Enchantment Play no more than one spell per turn. You may play your graveyard as though it were part of your hand. Whenever a card would go into your graveyard from anywhere, remove it from the game instead. The synergy between the two is quite obvious. A classic case of manipulating what normally would be a disadvantage to conversely provide a benefit, the Agenda "stabilizes" the E. Field with it's third ability, as no cards actually ever hit the graveyard, but are instead removed from the game. Additionally you also have the contents of your graveyard ready to replay. In addition to Arcane Lab, which nullifies the Agenda's one spell per turn drawback, and null brooch/ertai/stronghold machinist/etc... and generally a host of good counter back up, you effectively have absolute invulnerability AND lockdown.
