It destroys sligh which is not an easy thing to do. and a hymn to torach to it doesn't hurt too much. lots of removal and bounce hurt but even the little weenies conrtibute to some pain. more removal may be necessary but 8/4 trampling crash of rhinos can be removal itself. the deck casts for pretty cheap so pitching lands to careful studys or looters is done quite often- which is a good way to thin the deck. you reach threshold quickly and madness cards are worth looking into- but even as it is here there is potential. second or third turn 7/6's is a normal start. ______ RED/BLUE creatureless heat RED 4 lightning bolt 4 chain lightning (almost the same as a bolt) 4 incinerate 3 fireblast (sac 2 mountains to do 4) 4 kindle 4 flameburst 4 thunderbolt (3 damage only to players or 4 to flying creatures) 4 shock BLUE 4 inspiration instant U3 (draw 2 cards) 4 concentration sorcery U3 (draw 3 cards) -uncommon ART 1 bosian strip -uncommon LAND 14 mountain 6 island straight forward- burn away and restock your hand with the 8 blue spells. kill first turn critters but you must concentrate on the player. nobody plays creatureless in pheasent so let them hold all of there creature removal (dark banishings, terrors, plows, even there flametounges are useless) because this deck is! the bosian strip can recast every card in the deck! ______ BLACK/BLUE discard-bounce BLUE 4 mana leak U1 (counter unless they pay 3) 4 memory lapse U1 (counter to top of opponents library) 4 man-o-war U2 4 ophidian U2 2 inspiration U3 BLACK 4 hypnotic specter BB1 Uncommon 4 diabolic edict B1 (opponent sacs a creature) 4 hymn to tourach BB 4 ravenous rats B1 (2/1 rat) (opponent discards a card) 1 contagion BB3 (or pitch a black card out of the game) Uncommon GOLD 4 recoil BU1 (bring permanent back to owners hand and that person discards a card) LAND 9 island 12 swamp 4 manowar rock in this format. around here pheasent has alot of animater and this hoses them terribly. bounce with ophidians is awesome for you and with 4 hippes it is brutal for them. 4 memory lapse's play like early game (tempo) time walks! 4 mana leaks over straight counters just to improve the color specific mana curve nearly every card has some form of card advantage! The inspirations are questionable but they are instants when the need for countering is not necessary - they could easily be replaced with capsizes hymns are commons = play 4
