A little while ago I posted my Death by Monger deck but
after that I soon realized some problems with it. First of all utopia tree
didn't fit because you couldn't get out a second turn fires. Another
problem I had was not gettin red mana so I put in some mountains. Here is
the new and improved version of the deck:
4 llanowar elves
4 birds of paradise
4 blastoderm
4 phyrexian scuta
4 shivan wurm
4 spiritmonger
4 kavu titan
4 fires of yavimaya
4 might of oaks
10 forest
3 mountain
7 swamp
sideboard:
4 thunderscape battlemage
4 gaehs herald
4 earthquake
3 kavu chamelion
The sideboard is different from a lot of other fires
decks. Gaehs herald is an interesting choice but it lets me run over
counter decks.
Earthquake takes out decks that rely on a lot of small creatures like
rebles or merfolk. The battlemage and kavu chamelion are no
brainers. Well with some problems fixed the deck should run more
smoothly. Hope I've helped.
